Ingraft Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 July 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
Ingraft is operated by Samuel Mudd, trading as Ingraft, 58 Harrow Road, Birmingham B29 7DW, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us for use of the Ingraft browser extension and service. By creating an account you accept them.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data and forms part of these terms.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Give us a real email address you control, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person. Don't share an account or resell access.
- We cannot recover your password, only reset it.
3. What Ingraft does, and what it does not do
Ingraft reads a job advert you are looking at and uses an AI model to draft a CV and cover letter tailored to it, drawing on the CV you provided.
You need to understand three things about that:
- Everything it produces is a draft. AI models make mistakes, including confident ones. Read every line before you send it.
- You are responsible for the truth of your application. Ingraft is designed to reframe your real experience, not to invent experience you do not have, and it flags wording that looks like it has drifted from what you told it. Those checks are a help, not a guarantee. If something untrue reaches an employer, that is on you.
- We do not promise you a job, an interview, or a reply. Nobody honestly can.
Ingraft is a writing and organising tool. It is not careers advice, legal advice, or immigration advice.
4. Fair use
You agree not to:
- use Ingraft to create applications for anyone other than yourself, or to run an application service for others;
- deliberately try to make it produce false statements about your qualifications, employment history or right to work;
- use it to produce unlawful, harassing or discriminatory content;
- attempt to extract, resell or scrape our AI provider's output at scale, or use Ingraft to build a competing AI service;
- try to break, overload or circumvent our rate limits, quotas or security.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first.
5. Plans, payment and cancellation
Ingraft has a free tier and a paid tier. The free tier gives you 3 tailorings for the lifetime of your account - not 3 per month - and they use exactly the same AI model as the paid tier, so what you see is what you would be paying for. Previews, template changes and editing are free and unlimited; only generating a new tailoring uses your allowance. Ingraft Pro costs £14.99 per month, renews monthly until you cancel, and carries a fair-use limit of 120 tailorings per calendar month. Payments are not live yet; when they are, the current prices will always be shown before you are asked to pay.
Your right to cancel. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a purchase made online. Digital services are an exception once you have started using them, so by subscribing and using the service within that period you agree that we begin supplying it immediately and you acknowledge you will lose that 14-day right once it is fully performed. If you have not used any of your paid allowance, contact us within 14 days and we will refund you in full.
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future payments; it does not refund the current period, and you keep access until that period ends.
If we change our prices we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
6. Your content
Your CV, your cover letters and everything Ingraft writes for you remain yours . We claim no ownership of them and no licence to use them for anything other than providing the service to you. We do not keep copies (see the Privacy Policy), and neither we nor our AI provider use your content to train AI models.
7. Our content
The extension, the service, the CV templates and the Ingraft name and branding belong to us. You may use them to prepare your own job applications. You may not copy, redistribute or resell them.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Ingraft running but we do not promise it will always be available. We may need to take it down for maintenance, and parts of it depend on services we do not control, including our AI provider. Features may change or be withdrawn.
If we permanently discontinue the service we will give you at least 30 days' notice, refund any unused portion of a prepaid subscription, and give you a way to export your tracked applications.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: we provide Ingraft as it is; we are not liable for lost job opportunities, lost earnings, or any indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and £50.
We are not liable for the content of any application you send. You choose what to send.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Ingraft and delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering the service.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may cancel if you do not accept it. Continuing to use Ingraft after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may instead bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
